After reviewing the film, of what should have been a quarterback sack of Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by Grady Jarrett of the Atlanta Falcons in week 5, the nfl has decided to fine Tom Brady over $11,139 dollars (and no cents) for attempting to kick Grady Jarrett.
This ‘fine’ is of no significance to Tom Brady, but the penalty was of great significance to the Atlanta Falcons, as the ‘quarterback sack’ would have given the ball back to the Atlanta Falcons… with 2 minutes and 57 seconds remaining in the game… in the fourth quarter… and a chance for the Atlanta Falcons to score… and possibly win the game.
Again, this bad call on the field by the officials was disgusting and I believe these weak rules may be killing the nfl… but we move on.
