If You Don’t Feel It – Don’t Bet It

If You Don’t Feel It – Don’t Bet It

Many a sports bettor, regardless of experience, has found themselves in the uncomfortable position where they felt that they had to make a bet, simply because everyone else was betting on a BIG GAME.

Just because a BIG GAME is on the board and is one of the most popular bets today, does not mean that you too must make that particular BIG GAME one of your best sports bets today.

In other words, if your trying to make money betting on sports, you should never ‘follow the crowd’. You should stick to your own sports betting strategy.

Getting caught up and wrapped up in the hype and the drama, and the story line of a BIG GAME can happen to the best of us… quite easily.

Your friends are all talking about the BIG GAME, your co-workers are all into the BIG GAME, and every sports bar you walk into, there are signs, flags, t-shirts and ball caps everywhere promoting the BIG GAME.

You can’t get away from the wild obsession sports fans have for the BIG GAME.

The BIG GAME is all over television, all over the radio…, the sports channels are relentless with their coverage of the BIG GAME.

The excitement is so suffocating and addictive, and as a sports bettor, you don’t want to be left out of the action… I absolutely get it!

I too have been swept away by all of the drama and the excitement of a Super Bowl, an NBA Finals game, a College Final Four game, a College Football Championship.

The frenzy is just so incredible, you’re going insane, and you think of yourself going crazy if you let the BIG GAME pass you by and you don’t make a bet.

You can’t avoid feeling the pressure to make a bet, because you just don’t want to be left out!

But, here’s the thing… as a sports bettor, your in it for the money, you have to separate yourself from all the ballyhoo and think rationally about your betting strategy.

Dissect each team, breakdown the match up, study the injury reports, check on the weather forecast, all of it, and in the end of your game analysis, if you don’t feel it… don’t bet it.

This can be a tough thing to do, I know it, but you must proceed with caution and go with your gut.

But in the end, you are, after all, a grown person, and if you choose to throw caution to the wind, and make a bet anyway, hoping for the best, all I can say to you is… GOOD LUCK!… Truly!

However, listen and listen close, if you choose to place a bet and are solely counting on GOOD LUCK, there is a fifty/fifty chance that you could come out a winner, and if you do, congratulations!

But if you come out a loser, please… leave the cat alone.

And always remember to have fun when you’re betting on sports…
