With a 5-5 record, a whole lotta good things can still happen before the season ends, so long as the Tampa Bay Bucs stay focused and play the game they know they can play.

The first 8 seconds of the Brady Post Press Conference says it all…

CrushOnSports doesn’t do baseball but it is so sweet to see Jim ‘Mattress Mack’ McIngvale from Houston Texas win $75 Million Dollars after making a series of bets totaling $10 Million Dollars back in May.

Mattress Mack bet that the Astros would win the World Series with an average bet of 7.5 odds.

That takes GUTS!

But when the Astros defeated the Phillies, 4 to 1 in game six on Saturday November 5, 2022, the 71 year old Mattress Mack couldn’t be happier, neither could we.

So why would two officials (Tripp Sutter and Jeff Lamberth) at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers game, approach Mike Evans in the tunnel after the game and request ‘something’ to be signed… written on… or whatever.

Sheena Quick a Carolina Panthers beat writer posted the following video on her twitter account…

Take a close LOOK at the 00:18 second mark… you see the referee (Jeff Lamberth) standing on the right of Mike Evans as he takes a look up and stares directly into the camera as he is being filmed… and immediately walks to his left followed by Mike Evans as though to say… ‘Oh Crap… this ain’t good.’

The Bucs lost the game sure… but this type of interaction reflects badly on officials when it is their responsibility to not favor one team or player over another.

There is lots-O-money riding on these games and having referees have a ‘say’ on the outcome of a game… one way or another is certainly not a good thing to see.

Just look at this play and watch how Aaron Rodgers appears AGAIN to make what SHOULD have been the game winning throw… but it was Runyan #76 who could not hold on… and dropped the ball.

Yes, there was a flag thrown on the field and the play may or may not have been called a ‘no-go’… but Aaron Rodgers led his team with ALL heart… and THAT is a WINNER as far as I am concerned.

What happened to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Carolina Panthers on October 23, 2022 is horrendous and if this does not signal to Tom Brady that it’s time to pack it up and ‘go-home’ then he is a foolish-foolish man.

Can you imagine (if Tom waits much longer to re-retire) Tom Brady walking into his house and saying, ‘Hey Gisele, that football thing, yeah, it just didn’t work out, how about we try that marriage thing again.’

I don’t think Gisele is too wide open on taking football left-overs.

(Have you heard that Gisele has hired the same divorce lawyer that represented Tiger Woods? That has got to be blowing up in Mr. Brady’s mind.)

This was a really bad game and the next few games coming up are not going to be a walk in the park and Mr. Brady’s personal life is not getting much easier.

If the Tampa Bay Bucs don’t giddy-up in the next game or two, then I see Mr. Brady on his way back to retirement.

I am not ‘hating’ on Mr. Brady, but this is football, and he knows, if your not on the field to play the game… then go home. (WATCH VIDEO BELOW)

Tua Tagovailoa said Wednesday October 19, 2022 that he was unconscious at some point after was taken off the field in Week 4 with a scary head injury.

Now it’s week 7 and Tagovailoa is scheduled to start against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night after he was cleared on October 15, 2022.

Remember, Tagovailoa was injured back in week 3 against the Buffalo Bills and noted a ‘back injury’.

Five days later, in week 4, against the Bengals, Tagovailoa went down with a concussion.

Is Tagovailoa ready to play so soon?

Well by his own admission he said…

“I’m not the savior of this team, I don’t just come in and we start winning games. It’s a team deal…, For me, I just look at it as coming in this week and being myself.”

How strong of a presence Tagovailoa will be could determine Dolphins success on Sunday.

But listen (read) closely…

McCarthy went on to say “When you look at players who return to play, they’re cleared medically to play but if the timing isn’t there, they may need another week, I think that’s why if you look at the regimentation of how we’ve been bringing Dak back, obviously following the medical process of it, but we’ve been trying to do as much throwing, particularly the routes on air, as we can.”

Not to clear whether or not Dak Prescott will actually start in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.

Maybe we will have to wait to see Dak play the following week against the Chicago Bears.

But all of THAT means nothing if he is not all in to play the game of football… NOW.

Whether Brady wears a ring or not, does not really matter in the game of football.

God Bless him and his marriage, I hope all of that works out… but…

Tampa Bay Buccaneers deserve a quarterback that is going to perform and show up on game day ready to play, and not decide to attend a Robert Kraft wedding on Friday and then spend a Saturday in New York City rather that go practice with the team.

The Buccaneers should have beat the Steelers on Sunday, October 15, 2022, but now, I can’t help but question, was Tom Brady all in on Sunday or still punch drunk after Saturday, or was his mind focused on how much money might he lose after the divorce, or is the divorce going through at all.

Maybe Tom Brady will decide to throw in the towel mid-season, after a couple more games, and if he does, I think we can all understand, if he goes to save the only ring that truly matters.

Whatever Tom Brady decides, it has to be decided quick, because the season is quickly passing by.

We will see how the Buccaneers perform against a team like the Carolina Panthers, who they should beat easily.

One unidentified owner told ESPN that the committee might consider a 2 or 3 year contract for Mr. Goodell.

It has been reported that Mr. Goodell has earned $128 million dollars over a 2 year period from 2020 to 2021.

ESPN reported in 2017 that Mr. Goodell expressed to some owners that he would walk away after his next contract saying, “I’m here for you through that,” Goodell said. “After that, you guys should start having a conversation.”

So, it seems that there will be no ‘real’ change on the field for any ‘bad rules’ until some time after the 2024-2025 season.

How much more can sports fans take… we shall see…

This ‘fine’ is of no significance to Tom Brady, but the penalty was of great significance to the Atlanta Falcons, as the ‘quarterback sack’ would have given the ball back to the Atlanta Falcons… with 2 minutes and 57 seconds remaining in the game… in the fourth quarter… and a chance for the Atlanta Falcons to score… and possibly win the game.

Again, this bad call on the field by the officials was disgusting and I believe these weak rules may be killing the nfl… but we move on.
